1. Make all devices appear

After a while you can see that the device has a fork number in front of it, indicating that the optical drive has been disabled. Then open "My Computer" or Explorer, you will find the drive letter is gone!

Tip: In addition, if your optical drive is connected to a second IDE interface, you can also hide the optical drive by disabling the secondary IDE channel: First locate the IDE ATA/ATAPI controller in Device Manager and expand, then right-click Secondary IDE channel and select Deactivate command.

3. Make your Device Manager more powerful
