Experimental environment: a physical computer with a WS2012 operating system installed, a WS2012 virtual machine (DC1).

Task 1: Install the ' data removal repeat ' role,

1. Use Admin account Administrator to log in to DC1.

2. In the taskbar, click the Server Manager icon.

3. In the Server Manager window, click ' Manage ' and click ' Add roles and features ' in the Drop-down menu.

4. On the ' Select Installation Type ' page, select ' role-based or Functional installation ', and then click ' Next '.

5. On the ' Select Target Server ' page, select the server (DC1) from the server pool, and then click ' Next '.

6. On the ' Select Server Role ' page, tick ' file and iSCSI Services '-' data deletion duplicates ', click ' Next '.

7. On the ' Select Feature ' page, click ' Next '.
