How to delete the desktop ie icon and the desktop ie icon

1. Click start in the lower left corner of the computer, and then select run in the open menu ";

2. Click run to open the Run dialog box. In the input box, enter gpedit. msc and click OK to execute the gpedit. msc command;

 

3. Open the local group policy editor, as shown in the following figure:

 

4. In the left-side menu list of "Local Group Policy Editor", choose "user configuration"> "management template"> "desktop ", then, select "hide Internet Explorer icon on the desktop" in the function list on the right ";

 

5. Click "hide Internet Explorer icon on the desktop" to open the "Internet Explorer icon setting" dialog box. The current status is not configured, as shown in the following figure:

 

 

6. Change the current status to "enabled", and then log out or restart the system. In this way, the IE icon is invisible to the desktop.
