Step 1: Deploy Windows Server

1. 1.1 install win2016 OS for r730xd (Installos on 200GB SSD, then both 200GB SSD do Mirror)

2. 1.2 Install Roles and features

-hyper-v role

-failover Cluster

1.3 Add Serverto AD

Step 2: Configure the network

1. 2.1 setting the NIC for internal network

2. 2.2 Four NICs use for cluster

Step 3: Configure S2D

3.1validation Cluster

Test-cluster–nodenode1,node2–include "Storage spacesdirect", "Inventory", "Network", "System Configuration"

3.2Create a cluster

New-cluster-name Cluster01-node Node1,node2-nostorage

Step3.3:configure a cluster witness

Set-clusterquorun–filesharewitness \\fileshareserver\clusterwitnessshare

Step3.4:enable Storage Spaces Direct

Enable-clusters2d

Step3.5:create volumes

New -volume-friendlyname "Volume1" -filesystem csvfs_refs-storagepoolfriendlyname s2d*-size 7TB
