How to determine if the connection mode for an Oracle database is private or shared mode

This problem is not only related to parameter shared_servers, dispatchers, but also to server and client Tnsname.ora files.

The shared_servers parameter at the DB side controls whether the server can accept share server connections, but the client can set the coercion dedicated by setting the Tnsname.ora

as follows, 4 kinds of cases:

DB shared_servers = 0, Tnsname.ora server=shared or do not set ==> dedicated connection

DB shared_servers = 0, Tnsname.ora server=dedicated ==> dedicated connection

DB shared_servers > 0, Tnsname.ora server=dedicated ==> dedicated connection

DB shared_servers > 0, Tnsname.ora server=shared or do not set ==> shared connection
