After automatic update is enabled for Windows 7, the system will always remind you how long it will take to restart your computer after the update is installed. How can I disable this prompt? You can disable this prompt by setting the policy in the Local Group.

1. Use the shortcut key win + R to open the running window, and enter "gpedit. msc" in the input box. The local group policy is enabled.

2. on the left side of the Local Group Policy, choose computer configuration> Manage template> Windows component, and click Windows Update. The following window appears.

3. double-click the "For logged-on users, automatically update and install without restarting" option and set it in the Properties window. The default value is "not configured". Select "enabled" below, click application and click OK. When Windows is installed and updated again, the restart prompt will no longer appear.
