A brand computer with one-click recovery usually draws a hidden partition in the hard disk. The name is generally EISA partition (OEM partition ). This partition is not active, so how can we view or delete and change the partition, or view the partition without damaging the partition data, in fact, it can be achieved through the diskpart provided by windows.
XP, Vista, and win7 are all the same.
1. See the following in disk management:
2. Open the command line window, enter diskpart, and click Enter.
3. Enter select disk 0 (if there is only one disk, you do not need to enter list disk for viewing). Click Enter and select disk 0 (to hide the disk where the partition is located ). Enter rescan and then click Enter. As shown in.
4. Enter list partition and click Enter. List partitions. Now you can see hidden partitions. This is generally an OEM. Remember the partition number, which is the number.
5. Enter select partition 2 and click Enter. Select partition 2. That is the OEM partition. Enter Set ID = 7. Reset the partition ID. (4 is FAT32, 7 is NTFS, the hidden OEM partition type is 11 or 12, and my Lenovo g460a is 12, if it is set to 11, it is displayed as the primary partition.) Then you can view the partition, which is the same as the general partition.
6. Now, the information displayed in disk management is changed. You can view, add, and delete files directly. It is no difference to operate other disks on the local disk.
7. After reading the file, you can hide it again. In the same steps as above, the ID is set to 12.
