How to display the total number of columns at the top of an Excel Pivot table

1. Add new fields to the data source.

Shows the data source of the PivotTable.

Insert a column in the data source. For example, insert a column in the second column and fill all cells in the column in the data source area with the word "Total.

2. Add the new field to the first position in the row label area of the data perspective table.

If you use the data source to create a pivot table, you can add the "Total" field to the first position in the row label area of the Data Pivot table.

The Category summary of the "Total" field is automatically set to "sum" and displayed at the top of the PivotTable.

If you have created a PivotTable, You can refresh the PivotTable. The data source of the PivotTable is automatically changed, and the newly added "Total" field is added to the PivotTable field list. Then, drag the "Total" field to the first position in the tab area of the Data Pivot table row. 3. Cancel the total number of original columns.
