When a user opens a Word document that is created on another computer in the current computer, it often encounters a situation where the current computer lacks a preset font. The user can replace the missing font with the font substitution feature provided by Word2013, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 2013080118.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word Options dialog box, switch to the Advanced tab, and in the show document content area, click the Font Substitution button, as shown in Figure 2013080119.

3rd step, if you have text content in the current Word document that can replace the font, open the Font Substitution dialog box. In the document missing fonts list, select the font you want to replace, and click the Replace Font drop-down triangle button. Select the target font in the Font drop-down list and click OK. By clicking the Permanent Conversion button in the Font Substitution dialog box, you can permanently replace the missing font with the destination font, as shown in Figure 2013080120.
