How to download and use the Microsoft Snip screen cutting tool?

Microsoft yesterday released a screenshot of the application snip Beta. You can think of it as an upgraded version of the Windows 10 built-in screenshot tool, which you can use to capture screenshots and add drawings or annotations. You can also add your voice. Look at the hands-on video from the Surface 3 on the foreign-media WC.

When you do not use, the Microsoft Snip Beta application will be hidden at the top of the screen. You can use the mouse or trackpad to drag and drop it to another place. You can put it on a different edge, where it can be automatically hidden, or drag it to the middle of the screen.

There are three options to choose from: Capture, whiteboard, and camera.

1, the use of capture methods

Click on the Capture option, just click on the open window to get a screenshot of the window. If you want to capture a specific area, just click the left mouse button to drag the cross to create a rectangle. After capturing the screenshot, the Snip Editor appears automatically, and then you can draw on the image with a brush.

2, Whiteboard use method

Clicking on the Whiteboard option opens the Snip editor, a blank canvas appears, and clicking on the camera option allows you to start with a picture taken from a front or back camera.

Perhaps the most exciting thing about the snip beta is that you can record your voice while editing the screenshot. Just click on the recording key in the upper left corner and click the Stop button when you are done. The recording timer appears at the top of the application window. When you are done, you can click the Play button to view the clips, or share your creations using the link/embed code. The e-mail button does not work correctly in this beta.

All of your saved screenshots and clips are stored in the library. Click or click the book icon in the upper-right corner to view the files. Overall, we think this is a very handy tool on Windows 10 and we will use it to grab screenshots of our articles. We may as well try!
