How to draw a colorful and transparent slice sphere in Illustrator

I will give you a detailed analysis of the Illustrator software to share with you the tutorial on creating a colorful transparent slicing sphere.
Tutorial sharing:
Step 1
Open Illustrator and create a 1000px * 1000px document. The resolution is 300 (dpi), and the color mode is RGB.

Figure 01
Step 2
Turn on the intelligent reference line (Ctrl + U)-this will be a great help throughout the production process. If the reference line has been enabled, you can press Ctrl + U to turn it off.
Select the elliptical tool (L) and click in the canvas center. You will be prompted to enter the shape size to create a positive circle of pixel PX * pixel px. You can also create a new layer, add two reference lines, and align them with alignment buttons. They will be useful in the future. Your image (now very simple) should look like this:

Figure 02
Step 3
Create a new layer (named "circles") at the top, and add eight new rectangles. Use a deformation tool to adjust them to a proper size and place them in the correct position. See the following figure:

Figure 03
Step 4
Now let's simulate some pivoting results. Select all edges except the top-right Oval, and turn on the conversion tool (Alt + Control + Shift + D ). Change the vertical scaling to 103% and click OK. Your 7 Ovans should have grown a little longer.

Figure 04
Step 5
Application selection tool (V ). Shift + click to subtract it from the second ellipse. Now you have selected only six Ovans, and press Control + D to repeat the last deformation-this will make the selected Oval longer than 3%. Repeat the preceding operations to remove the oval and then repeat the deformation. You will notice that the bottom of the ellipse extends the boundary of a large circle. Moving the bottom of an elliptic 2 pixel fixes this problem-no one will notice this trick.
The operation result is as follows:

Tutorial figure 05
Step 6
Select all contents of the "circles" layer (you can Alt + click this layer), and open the conversion tool again (Alt + Control + Shift + D ). This time, enter 115% in vertical scaling and click "copy. You will get eight new Ovans, each of which will be 15% longer than the original image.

Figure 06
Step 7
It seems a bit messy now. Don't worry. Let's deal with it. Click select tool (V) and select the top two Ovans. Open the path finder Panel and click the "split" button. Repeat the preceding operations on the remaining Ovans. On the surface, it seems that there is no change, but your graph has been chopped.

Figure 07
Step 8
Click directly select tool (A) to focus on the group of Ovans at the top. Alt + click to select the shape of the sickle above and press Delete to Delete it. The remaining shape is similar to a disc with a certain angle. Repeat this step for the remaining Ovans until you get an image similar to the following:

Figure 08
Step 9
Well, we have completed the basic part of this image. Now let's have some color. You can use the colors recommended by me, and you can create them as you like.
We started from the small shapes that simulate the attention. Use the direct selection tool (A) to select them in sequence, remove their stroke colors, and change their fill colors to the following values: # FF2C85, # F42DF7, # 662DEF, #2F49E7, # 31A0DE, #31DEC5, # 33CE4A, #7BC636.
The effect is as follows:

Figure 09
Step 10
Now that the edge is defined, we add colors to the interior of the ring. Apply 8 Gradient values to 8 circles. All the gradient values are derived from our 8 basic colors, from 100% transparency to full transparency. Use the gradient tool (G) To adjust the shape and position of the gradient. The result should be as follows:

Figure 10
Step 2
Now it looks a bit better, but the color is better. Click the direct selection tool (A) to select the top group of shapes, and apply the effect of stylized inner light. Select the color filter mode, 50% opacity, 10 px blur, and select a color that matches the gradient. Of course, I encourage you to do more here.
Repeat this step to get the following results:

Figure 11
Step 2
Create a new layer under the circle layer. Draw a 1000px * 1000px square, fill in a dark gray circular gradient and lock this layer. At this time, some parts of the sphere may appear too dark or too bright-adjust as you like. In general, the image should be like this:

Figure 12
Step 2
Pay attention to the layer panel and place the "circle" layer to the top. Select an external positive circle, copy it, and paste it at the top (Control + F) three times. Fill in a pure white to transparent gradient at the bottom, and change the stroke to none. Use the gradient tool to adjust the gradient position. Reduce the opacity of this shape to 60%.
Select the next round to apply a similar gradient. This time, the gradient is removed from the center of the circle to give it a luminous sensation. The shape opacity is reduced to 30%.
Apply a similar pink gradient to the third circle, but change the blending mode to "color" and the opacity to 60%. Fill the last circle with a light, yellow, and green gradient. The blending mode is "color" with an opacity of 60%. See the following figure:

Figure 13
Step 2
Create a new layer named "highlights" and move it to the top. Use the pen tool (P) to draw some surfaces. Fill them with light white to give your sphere some surface highlights. Reduce their transparency (I use 40% most and 10% shallow) and place them along the sphere. SUCCESS !!!

Summary
Your colored ball is ready. Now you can put your name, add shadow, reflection, and so on. You can use this technology to create other shapes, including cubes, bottles, and cylinders.

All right, the above information is the detailed design of the colorful transparent slicing sphere rendering tutorial for the users of Illustrator, users have seen this, and I believe that everyone is very clear about the drawing method. Then, you can draw a colorful and transparent sliced sphere by yourself according to the small series tutorial.
