How to enable and disable the Oracle archiving mode of a Database

2. Start the database to the mount status

　　1.SQL> startup mount;　　2.ORACLE instance started.　　3.Total System Global Area 101782828 bytes　　4.Fixed Size 451884 bytes　　5.Variable Size 37748736 bytes　　6.Database Buffers 62914560 bytes　　7.Redo Buffers 667648 bytes　　8.Database mounted.

 

Iii. Enable or stop archive mode if you want to enable the Oracle archive mode, use

1. alter database archivelog command. 2. SQL> alter database archivelog; 3. database altered. 4. SQL> alter database open; 5. database altered. 6.
