Problem description
After you use the IDE mode to install the XP system and enable the AHCI mode, the blue screen restart may occur. How to load the AHCI driver under XP so that the AHCI option in BIOS can be enabled to achieve the best performance of the hard disk.
Problem Analysis
The Windows XP system cannot directly support the hard drive high-speed mode of AHCI. You need to attach the AHCI patch to enable the hard drive mode in BIOS.
Solution
Take my Shenzhou as an example (elegant A360P i3 D1 ):
1. Device Manager when AHCI Driver (chipset Driver Installed) is not loaded
2. Download and decompress the SATA driver
[It seems that I have not seen the attachment upload location, but I can go to my BKJIA to download it]

3. Restart and change the SATA operating mode to AHCI in BIOS. The hard disk mode is changed to "AHCI" as follows ", some are Enabled or Disabled (the locations and methods of Hard Disk Mode Modification vary slightly in BIOS of different models)
4. When the system is started, the system prompts you to find the new hardware wizard.
Pointing path: the root directory of the SATA driver after decompression
Installation successful: Click Finish.
5. Complete installation
OK. After the driver is installed, restart it!
