How to enter the text interface after Ubuntu is started

Because I had a very old notebook and threw it away, it was a pity that I put it in the dormitory as a Linux server. It was a little hard to open the graphic interface (in fact, it was not needed as a server ). Use the Ubuntu release version to modify the running level according to the method of laruence. The inittab file cannot be found! Various searches found the way Ubuntu entered the text interface. Three steps are required:

1. Open the/etc/default/grub File
2. Change GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet splash" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet splash text"
3. sudo update-grub
