How to expand/collapse part of word2013

The steps to expand/collapse portions of the word2013 are as follows:

Step one: After you apply the heading style, you will see a small triangle when you move the cursor over the caption. Click the triangle to collapse the body text and subtitle below it.


If you are using a touch device, click to place the cursor in the caption to see the triangle.

Click the triangle again to expand the portion of the document.

To collapse or expand all headings in the document, right-click the title, and then click expand/Collapse > Expand all titles or collapse all titles.

Step two: When you close and reopen the document, the title is expanded by default. If you want the document to collapse when it opens, follow these steps.

Step three: Place the cursor in the caption.

Step four: On the Start tab, in the Paragraph group, click Dialog Box Launcher.

Step five: In the Paragraph dialog box, click the check box next to collapse by default.

Step Six: Click OK.
