How to find and replace character formats in Word 2010

Use the Find and Replace feature of Word 2010 to find and replace characters, and to find and replace character formatting (such as finding or replacing fonts, font sizes, font colors, and so on), as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window, and then click the Find → Advanced Find button in the Edit group in the start Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2010081208.

Step 2nd, click the More button in the Open Find and Replace dialog box to display more lookup options, as shown in Figure 2010081209.

Step 3rd, click the left mouse button in the Find what edit box to make the cursor in the edit box. Then click the Format button in the Find area, as shown in Figure 2010081210.
