How to find installed software in Linux,
1. rpm
Note that rpm is case sensitive.
Query installed packages starting with mysql
Rpm-qa mysql *
Query installed mysql packages
Rpm-qa | grep mysql
The rpm method sometimes has all installed packages.
2. yum
List all conditions of a specified package
Yum list package
Yum list | grep installed
3. whereis
Sometimes you can find the path of the corresponding package by searching for files.
For example, whereis mysql
4. ps
You can find the path of the corresponding package by searching the process.
Ps-ef | grep mysql
Problem: if the software installed by source code cannot be found through the above method, the rpm and yum methods are only applicable to software installed by rpm and yum, because the software installed in these two ways can be identified by default when running the command system, and the software installed in the source code method can be identified by the system unless a soft connection is established or through the configuration file, otherwise, you cannot search by using the two methods, but you can search by using the ps analysis process.
