When I used the USB flash drive GHOST to restore the system the other day, I had to recover the GHOST image to drive C, but accidentally chose Disk-> From Imag, and the GHOST went to the entire hard Disk. After the computer is restarted, all the original partitions will become one? Is there a way to bring back the previous data?

Don't worry, the GHOST image system is generally smaller than the capacity of the original C disk. That is to say, it is only written to the location of the original C disk and not to other partitions. As long as the damaged Partition Table is restored, you can solve the problem. Now let's talk about the specific steps.

1. restart the system and go to the GHOST. Click "Local" → "Disk" → "From Image" → "OK". On the Destination Drive Details page that appears, press the "Tab" key to move the cursor to the number bar under "New Size", enter a number to adjust the above capacity to the original C disk capacity (if you do not remember the original Size of the C disk partition, you can set a value slightly larger than the GHO image file, for example, 2 GB to 5 Gb), and then click OK to restore the GHOST image to the hard disk.

2. After the recovery is complete, restart the computer to enter the system.

Diskgenius.exe in the 3rd double compression package starts Disk Genius. If you have recently backed up a hard Disk partition table, use Disk Genius to restore the hard Disk partition table. If no partition table is backed up, click "Hard Disk"> "search for lost partition (re-create partition table)" to open the "search for lost partition" dialog box, click "Start search", and wait a moment, disk Genius scans the missing extended partition and finds other partitions in the extended partition. Follow the instructions above to restart the computer and restore the normal operation.

TIPS: If you accidentally delete a partition or the disk partition is missing, do not write data to the hard disk. Use Disk Genius in time to search for the missing partition according to the above method. Generally, you can quickly retrieve the lost partition by sector. If it is a C drive partition, you can remove the hard drive and mount it to another computer to restore it, or use WinPE to start the recovery.
