Step 1

Click Start, enter msconfig in the search box, and click enter. the system configuration window is displayed.

　　

 

　

 

Step 2

Click the startup labels in the system configuration window. if the network class is .url).html#.hta and .htm, click OK to restart the computer.

　　

 

In the preceding two steps, the website in the startup item is disabled.

Step 3

Delete the LIB directory or Supdate. log directory under the C: Program FilesInternet Explorer Directory

 

Step 4

As in step 1, enter regedit in the Start menu to open the register editor.

Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftInternetExplorerMain. Find Start Page on the right of the window;

Step 6

Double-click Start Page. in the string editing window, change the value to about: blank and click OK ". In this step, change the current IE default homepage to open a blank page in the browser.

In this path: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet assumermain, locate Start Page on the right of the window. (Note: This step is different from step 5)
