1 adding background music to PPT

Method One:

1. Click on "Insert-movie and sound-file sound", select the file you want as background music in the Insert Sound dialog box, click OK, and click the "Auto" button in the pop-up dialog box to insert the music object.

2. Right-click the inserted Sound object (horn icon), select Custom Animation in the pop-up shortcut menu, and in the Custom Animation task pane that appears, click the down arrow to the right of the music option that you just inserted, and then click Effect Options on the menu that appears.

3. In the Play Sound dialog box that pops up, in the Effects tab, under Stop playing, select the appropriate number in the middle of the number increment or decrease box by selecting "After (F): xx slide" (Middle XX as number). The number can be set according to the total number of slides, such as a total of 49 slides, you can set to 50, so you can achieve until the end of the slide does not reach the set number, so the sound will not stop. If the inserted sound file is relatively short, you can switch to the Timing tab and select the "until end of the slide" item in the Drop-down list box after "repeat" to avoid the fact that the sound file is too short to result in a situation where there is no background music to be shown later. Also, don't forget to switch to the "Sound Settings" tab and check the "Hide sound icon during slide Show" item so that the small horn icon will not appear when the show is displayed.

4. Then the slide show to try, is not the realization of the function of the background music.

Method Two:

1. Click Slide Show-Slide transition at the beginning of the slide where you want to use the background music.

2. In the Slide Transition task pane that appears, click the Drop-down arrow to the right of the sound option and click "Other sounds ..." in the list box that appears.

3. In the Add Sound dialog box that appears, select the sound file you want to use as the background music, click OK, and then go back to the Slide Transition task pane to check the "loop to the next sound start" option.

4. Slide show, background music function realization.

Note: 1. The first method supports more types of sound format files, but the sound file is not embedded in the document, so to move the document to another machine, the corresponding music file will also move, and the relative path can not be wrong, so it is recommended to use this method while the background music files and documents in the same directory, This makes it easier to move without error.

2. The second approach is currently supported only. wav type of sound files, resulting in a relatively large document after completion, but the benefit is also very obvious, after the successful setting, PowerPoint will automatically embed the sound file, so that even if the document moved to another machine, do not worry about the background music file issues.
