How to clear passwords for low-end routers in Huawei

Clear BOOTROM password:

BOOTROM of low-end routers does not exist by default. If it is lost after configuration, you can only use the universal password: WhiteLily2970013

Note: The password is case sensitive.

AR46 Bootrom 5.04 super password: supperman

1. vvrp97-year version. If the password cannot be eliminated, you must upgrade it to version 2.0.

2. VRP2.0

1> press Shift + d during power-on self-check to go To the download page.

2> enter "*" after the password is displayed

3> type "shift + 3", that is, enter "#".

3. vrp1.0

1> press Ctrl + B during power-on self-check to go To the download page.

2> enter a password. The default value is null. Press enter.

3> type "Ctrl + p ".

After deleting the password, you can enter privileged user mode for the first time, but after restarting, you can still ask for the password. Where is the problem? The reason is that during the design, developers only want to let you enter the password once after it is eliminated. The command used to change the password is an implicit command enable password, after the first entry, modify the password and save it to eliminate or modify the password you know.

Remove privileged passwords from low-end routers (25XX series, 25XXE series, 16XX series, 4001/4001 E)

Restart the router;

Press Ctrl + B enter BootMenu to enter the BootMenu;

Press Ctrl + p. Several "#" And BootMenu menus are displayed on the screen;

Select Reboot.

After the vro is restarted, press Enter to Enter the privileged mode. After skipping this step, Enter enablepassword new password in global configuration mode, you can change the privileged password to new password. Note that the enable password command must be fully written. Otherwise, the system will prompt that this command is incorrect.

Restart the router;

Press Ctrl + B enter BootMenu to enter the BootMenu;

Select Clear application password, so that the privileged password will not be prompted at next startup;

Select Exit and reboot.
