How to compare two similar Word documents

Many developers know the well-known beyond compare, a very powerful text file comparison software. What if we want to compare two similar Word files? The Word file has its own format, and BC cannot understand the content.

 

The powerful MS Word has one function, which can reduce the pain of comparing two Word files.

Take word2007 as an example.

When more than two Word files are opened in the system, the option that you view side by side will become optional.

If more than two Word documents are enabled, a dialog box will pop up asking you to compare them.

After the selection, you can select the window position in the view tab. Then you can adjust the two documents you want to compare to the position you want to start the comparison, and then click synchronize to scroll.

Done! Now you can drag a word scroll bar, and the other document will also scroll together! Try it!
