In the XP system, want to configure an IP address to the network card, do not know how to operate?
1. First of all to ensure that the network card installation is correct, and install the appropriate network card driver.
2. Right-click My Network Places, select Properties, and open Internet connections.
3. Select Local Area Connection and right-click, then select Properties to open Local Area Connection properties.
4. In this link use the following items, locate the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item, and then click Properties to open Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties.
5. If the DHCP server is already set up in the local area network, or if the server has DHCP capabilities, select "Automatically obtain IP address" and enter the DNS server IP address.
If you manually specify an IP address, select Use IP address below and enter information such as IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, and so on.
6. After setting up, the connection clicks OK until it exits.
