How to enable Raspberry Pi to enter the graphic interface by default
I have been buying Raspberry Pi for some time, but to be honest, I have hardly used it to do anything. After my Dell super book was delivered to the Dell Service Center (for weeks), I began to use Raspberry Pi as an alternative again.
I have already written an article about how to install the Raspbian system on the SD card in Ubuntu. I also re-installed Raspberry Pi. One thing I missed during the first startup was setting up a graphical interface. In this way, when I start Raspberry Pi again, I directly access the command line. How can I run the Respbian GUI next?
Set Raspbian image startup
When you install the Raspbian system for the first time, there are some options that you need to configure. Due to the rush, I didn't notice these options, just to quickly complete the options on the screen. If you encounter the same situation as me, you will only access the command line interface of the Raspbian operating system. Don't be disappointed, because it is easy to set Raspberry Pi to start on a GUI. Let's see how it works.
Step 1:
When you are running the command, log on with the default user name and password (if you have not modified it ). The Default User of Raspbian is pi, and the default password is raspberry.
Step 2:
After you log on, run the following command:
- Sudo raspi-config
This command will open Raspberry Pi configuration, as we saw during the first startup.
Step 3:
In this configuration interface, find the Enable Boot to Desktop/Scratch option. Select it by combining arrows, tabs, And/, or enter keys (which ones I forgot to use ).
Step 4:
On the next screen, select Desktop Login as user 'Pi 'at the graphical desktop.
Step 5:
Next, you will be asked to restart.
After the next startup, you will log on to the LXDE desktop environment. Then you can enjoy the Raspberry Pi GUI.
I hope this tutorial will help you set your Raspberry Pi to the GUI by default. You are welcome to leave your questions and suggestions in the comment area.
