The user can insert the date and time in the Word2013 document as needed, and because the date and time code that is inserted is called from the system, you can automatically update the time each time the Word document is opened, or manually update only if you need to update the time. The steps to insert a date and time in a Word2013 document are as follows:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and swap to the insert ribbon. Position the insertion point cursor where you want the date and time to be inserted (in any position in the body or in the header footer), and then click the Date and Time button in the Insert area, as shown in Figure 2013072832.

Step 2nd, open the Date and Time dialog box, select the appropriate date or time format in the available formats list, or select a combination of date and time formats. If you select the Automatic Updates check box, you can automatically update the Word document each time it is opened, depending on the date and time of the current system. Set Finish Click OK, as shown in Figure 2013072833.

Word Home Tip: If the English (United States) option is selected in the Language list in the Date and Time dialog box (the combination format for the date and time that you want to also meet the selected Word2010 format), after returning to the Word2013 document window, You can click to select a date or time to insert, and click the Update button to manually update the date or time, as shown in Figure 2013072834.
