How to insert data in one table into another table?

There are two data tables. I want to insert the data in Table A to table B.
Here are my statements: 1 Insert   Into Oitmyz Select   *   From Oitmls

but the following error occurs: MSG 8101 , level 16 , State 1 , line 1
only when the column list is used and identity_insert On , only tables can be ' oitmyz ' specifies an explicit value for the ID column.

When this error occurs, I find that my table uses an automatic number. So I adjusted the statement:1Insert IntoOitmyzSelectItemcode, itemname, itemggxh, dwname, whsname, onhand, itmscodcodFromOitmls

Note:(3Row (s) affected)

This indicates that the data is successfully inserted.
