If you have a system disk with SATA, if the system disk of the tomato garden has an XP system that has been tried on the SATA hard disk, you only need the SATA local mode to install the XP system.

The author is the HP b1236 machine, the original Vista system, but the 2G memory running Vista still feels very slow, and more familiar with XP

So when I tried to install XP on Vista, I encountered

"The installer does not find the hard drive installed on this computer.

Make sure that the hard drive is powered on and that the connection to the computer is correct. Make sure that the hardware configuration related to the disk is correct. This may need to run the diagnostics or installation programs provided by the manufacturer ."

After the local SATA mode is disabled, the problem is solved.
