How to install Chrome app starters

The Chrome app launcher is a window. With this window, we can quickly access all our Chrome applications from the desktop. You can open the app launcher from the taskbar (Windows) or the Dock (Mac.

Install application starters

When an application is added to the "desktop device dedicated" collection of Chrome online app stores, the system automatically installs the application initiator. The procedure is as follows:

• Go to the dedicated desktop device section of the Chrome online App Store.
• Click the free or purchase price for [specific price] button to add the corresponding application.
• View your taskbar (Windows) or Dock (Mac) and find the app launcher.

After opening the app launcher, we will find the app we just added and some other convenient Chrome apps.

Sort applications

To move an application icon from one place to another in the app launcher, click the icon and drag it to the target location.

Remove Application

To remove an application from the application initiator, perform the following operations:

• Right-click the icon of the corresponding application (when Mac users press the Control key.
• Select Remove from Chrome.

Remove application starters

If you do not want the application launcher to be displayed in the taskbar or Dock, follow these steps.

Windows

• In the taskbar, right-click the application launcher.
• Click to unlock the program from the taskbar.
• The application initiator is no longer displayed in the taskbar.

Mac

• In the Dock, click the app launcher icon and drag it to the basket.
• The application initiator is no longer displayed in the Dock.

Linux

• Right-click the app launcher icon.
• Remove this icon from the starter or panel of your system.

If the application initiator cannot be found in your taskbar (Windows) or Dock (Mac), perform the following operations to display it again:

Windows

• Click the Start Menu.
• Select all programs.
• Select Google Chrome.
• Right-click the application launcher.
• Click lock to the taskbar.

Mac

• Go to the Finder and enter "app launcher" in the search box ". You can also search by using the Spotlight search box in the upper-right corner of the screen.
• Drag the app launcher icon to the Dock.
