Prepare some software first: a WinPE image file; Grubgui software, this is used to write boot to the hard disk; WINPM, partitioning tool.

The first step, write the main boot: Open Grubgui This program, after running, select your mobile hard disk, do not choose the wrong ah, choose the hard drive is finished. Of course, it's no big deal to rewrite the main guide.

After the master boot is written, the partition of the hard disk is moved. Partition tool, I recommend WINPM, this partition tool, very useful.

With WINPM to the mobile hard disk to separate a primary partition, this step is also very critical, and then set as bootable, that is, the active partition, only the primary partition, to be able to guide, it must be clear that after the creation of the primary partition, must be set as the activity. (Note: The primary partition basically as long as 4G is enough, in order to avoid misoperation delete system files, primary partition better not put things!)

Next, you just need to copy the file.

The second step: the downloaded WinPE image file is opened with winrar (ISO format), all the files and folders inside drag and drop to the main partition of the mobile disk under the root directory, or extracted and copied to the main partition of the mobile hard disk root directory is also OK.

The third step, find the Wxpe folder, open the folder, find Setupldr.bin, Ntdetect. COM These two files, the two files are also copied to the main partition of the mobile hard disk root directory, and then renamed Setupldr.bin to Mtldr. Here, be sure to note the Setupldr.bin extension bin, when renaming, be sure to note that MTLDR does not have an extension. (Note: The Wxpe folder also has the main partition root directory under two Setupldr.bin to change to MTLDR, otherwise the PE cannot start)

Now you can go into the WINPM to hide the main partition settings of the removable hard disk, which is why I recommend that you partition the main partition 4G is enough, of course, can also be smaller.
