How to load USB flash drives in Linux
1. when using RedHat 8.6 for the first time, you may encounter the following situations when loading a USB flash disk;
1. I do not know if the linux operating system on the virtual machine has identified the USB flash disk;
2. how to mount a USB flash drive to the system;
3. solve Chinese garbled characters;
II. solution:
1. run the fdisk-l command to check the hard disk status in the current system;
2. Insert the USB flash disk and run the fdisk-l command (keep the focus in the virtual machine operating system) to view the corresponding device;
3. create a folder to load the usb flash drive: mkdir/mnt/usb
4. attach a USB flash drive:
(1) the loading method varies with the USB flash drive format. the following methods are generally used:
(A) mount-t msdos/dev/sdb1/mnt/usb
(B) mount-t vfat/dev/sdb1/mnt/usb
(C) mount-t ext2/dev/sda1/mnt/usb
Note: [dev/sdb1] is the corresponding USB flash drive device. different systems may be different. do not stick them together );
5. view the content under the USB flash disk
