Tools to be prepared:
1. jdbc driver mysql-connector-java-5.0.4-bin.jar connecting to Mysql
2. SQL Developer 1.2 developed by Oracle Company
The following is how to configure SQL Developer 1.2
Configuration environment:
Select Tools-Preferences-Database-Third Party JDBC Driver and click Add Entry to Add the Mysql jdbc Driver.
Configure the connection between MySQL and Oracle
Right-click Connection and choose New Connection to establish Mysql and Oracle connections respectively.
After the connection is established, you can view your database.
Configure Repository
Choose Migration-> Repository Management-> Create Repository to Create a Repository.
Two data migration methods:
1. Capture the source database or tables

4. Run the generated DDL script to create the new user and objects
5. Copy any data from the source database to the new database, select Migration-> Migration Data select a converted model.
