How to monitor network card traffic using Nload in Centos

At the same time, the current average, minimum, maximum, and total traffic values are counted to make it clear.

First install the Nload software. here I use the source package for installation. Currently, the latest version of Nload is 0.7.4.

Wget http://www.roland-riegel.de/nload/nload-0.7.4.tar.gz

Tar xvfz nload-0.7.4.tar.gz

Cd nload-0.7.4

./Configure-prefix =/usr/local/nload

Make & make install

After the installation is successful, run the following command:

/Usr/local/nload/bin/nload

You can see the real-time traffic status.

The first line is the name and IP address of the NIC by default. you can use the left and right keys on the keyboard to switch the NIC.
By default, Incoming is the traffic entering the NIC;
By default, Outgoing is the outbound traffic of the NIC;
The right side (Curr current traffic), (Avg average traffic), (Min minimum traffic), (Max maximum traffic), and (Ttl traffic statistics) are used by default );

There are also many parameters that can be used. view the parameter help command:/usr/local/nload/bin/nload-help
