1. First, press the keyboard Win+r shortcut to open the computer's running window, in the Open running window, enter gpedit.msc and click Enter, so you can open the Win7 computer's Group Policy Editor window.
2. In the Open Group Policy Editor window, click to expand User Configuration-Administrative Templates-Start menu and taskbar on the left menu, and then locate the close taskbar thumbnail in the right window and double-click to open it.
3. In the edit window of the open close taskbar thumbnail, change the previously default setting directly to Disabled, and then click OK to save it.
