First step: Select recording Equipment
The type of recording supported by KK Video Recorder:
Recording a computer, system playback sound
Record microphone, microphone sound
Record both computer sound and microphone sound
Recording settings
Click the Settings button, and then follow the instructions set.
Operation steps: Win7, Win8 system recording, XP system recording
1. How can Win7 and WIN8 system record computer sound?
Check "Record computer playback sound" can be.
2. How do Win7 and WIN8 systems record microphones?
Check "Record Microphone" and select the microphone device currently in use in the Drop-down box.
If you start recording, the dialog box pops up "recording failed, error code ...", select Windows Default device in the Drop-down box, and then click the "Settings" button to set the microphone as the default device.
3. How can Win7 and WIN8 system record computer sounds and microphones at the same time?
Also check the "record computer playback sound" and "Record Microphone" and select the microphone device currently in use in the Drop-down box.
If you start recording, the dialog box pops up "recording failed, error code ...", select Windows Default device in the Drop-down box, and then click the "Settings" button to set the microphone as the default device.
If the recording is still problematic, it is recommended to download drive life, update the sound card driver, after the update, restart the computer, and then follow the steps.
Step Two: Start recording
After the KK Recorder starts recording, the sound wave bar fluctuates up and down, indicating that there is recorded sound; the larger the fluctuation, the louder the volume. If there is no fluctuation, there is no sound and you need to modify the recording options.
Note:
--Recording Select Stereo Mix/stereo mix to record all sounds, including computer sounds and microphone sounds.
--Recording select microphone to record microphone sound.
--Increase the microphone volume to check "microphone enhancement."
--Remove the noise need to check "microphone mute".
Workaround:
--If there is no stereo mixer option, click the "Recording Control" button and set the recording device manually.
-If you choose a stereo mixer that still does not sound, it is recommended to download the Driver Wizard, update the sound card driver, and then restart the computer.
--some sound cards do not support mixing recordings, so choosing a stereo mixer only records the sound of your computer.
