MicrosoftWord is that we use more than one software, and the degree of freedom of the software is also large, any user can be based on their preferences to change the settings of its parameters, including changes in Word's operating interface, mode of operation, unit of measurement and so on. There are more frequent changes to the menu of word, if you want to recover can be troublesome, generally use the following methods to recover:
1, remove common templates for Word
Because all of Word's settings are stored in its default template Normal.dot file, we can delete the file, and when Word restarts, it will re-establish the file, reapply the default parameters of Word, and revert to the deleted menu.
Open Windows Explorer or My computer to find this file deletion. For Office2010, it is in x:programfilesmicrosoftofficetemplates1033. For other versions of Word, you can use the search feature to find it.
Note: Using this method, not only can you restore Word's deleted menus, but you can also use them to restore other changes to Word, which you can call a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
2, using the registry for recovery
Click "Start → run", enter "regedit" to open Registry Editor, find or create a new "Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftoffice[officeversion]worddata" Item, "Data" Change to "OldData", see attached drawings.
