How to reduce picture size by discarding editing data in Word 2013

In the Word2013 document, users can remove data that is used to restore edited pictures to their original state by using the Discard Edit Data feature. This can effectively reduce the size of the word file that contains the picture, as described in the following steps:

Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 2013072501.

Step 2nd, open the Word Options dialog box and switch to the Advanced tab. In the image size and quality area, select the Discard Edit data check box and click the OK button, as shown in Figure 2013072502.
