Close () is placed in the finally block

PrintWriter out = null;try {    out = new PrintWriter(        new BufferedWriter(        new FileWriter("out.txt", true)));    out.println("the text");} catch (IOException e) {    e.printStackTrace();} finally {    if (out != null) {        out.close();    }

This approach is recommended before JDK1.7, but this approach is problematic because exception can occur in the try block and finally block.

Using the Try-with-resource statement

try (PrintWriter out2 = new PrintWriter(            new BufferedWriter(            new FileWriter("out.txt", true)))) {    out2.println("the text");} catch (IOException e) {    e.printStackTrace();}

The recommended JDK version is above 1.7.
