In Windows 7 RTM, you must retain the image preview function of the resource manager and disable only preview of all videos as follows:
Enable the preview function in the resource manager folder attribute options. In this case, both images and videos can be previewed.
Then go to the Registry and back up and export the key value,
Hkey_classes_root \ CLSID \ {9dbd2c50-62ad-11d0-b806-00c04fd706ec}
Save the file name as property thumbnail handler. Reg.
Then, delete the key value, clear disk C, select the thumbnail option, and unregister. Then, you can disable all video previews without affecting the image.
To restore the data, double-click the property thumbnail handler. reg to import it back to the Registry.
Delete Registry Permissions:
Right-click a key value (for example, {9dbd2c50-62ad-11d0-b806-00c04fd706ec}) and choose "permission"> "advanced"> "owner"> "change the owner to the current user. Then, add full control to the current user.
