How to set tplink (TL-TR861) wireless router

1. Connect to the vro

The terminal connects to the vro through a wireless network adapter. Open the browser, enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, press enter, and enter admin in the pop-up password input dialog box. After entering the information, click enter or log on, enter the vro management interface, as shown in the following figure (this device is not inserted with a China Unicom SIM card, but does not affect the basic wireless settings ):

2. Set basic wireless signal parameters

Click "Advanced Settings"-"wireless"-"basic settings"

The wireless network name (SSID) is the name of the wireless signal sent by the router, the default is the TL-LINK_3G_XXXXXX (XXXXXX is the last six digits of the MAC address of the device), in order to facilitate the identification of the router wireless signal, we recommend that you modify the SSID. In this example, change the SSID to a TL-LINK_3G_861 (note: the SSID is better not to use Chinese ).

If SSID broadcast is enabled, the wireless terminal can only find the wireless signal. If SSID broadcast is not enabled, the wireless terminal cannot find the wireless signal.

A wireless channel is an image metaphor for the path between the sender and the acceptor in wireless communication. Generally, you can select it automatically.

The wireless mode refers to the connection mode between the client and the wireless route, depending on the support mode of the client Wireless NIC. Generally, the 11bgn mixed hybrid band mode is selected because it has good compatibility with the wireless network.

The wireless security mechanism is not encrypted by default. To prevent other people from connecting to the wireless network, we recommend that you encrypt the wireless network signal. The wireless security mechanism selects the WPA/WPA2-PSK, in this example the WPA key is set to 1234567890.

WIFI is automatically disabled if the client does not use the traffic of the 3G signal within the set time. The default value is 15 minutes, which can be changed according to the actual situation;

Now, the basic wireless settings of the vro are complete. Click Save. The vro automatically restarts and the configuration takes effect.

3. Connect the wireless signal of the router again

After the restart, click refresh network list to find the configured SSID (in this case, TL-LINK_3G_861), and connect, at this time you will be prompted to enter the key, enter the key you just set (1234567890 in this example). After entering the key, Click Connect.

The wireless connection is successful, as shown in the following figure. At this time, other terminal devices can share 3G internet access through WIFI.
