How to switch the user interface of ubuntu10.4 under Vmware

 

The ubuntu10.4 virtual system is installed in VMware. Sometimes the character command interface is more convenient, such as programming. Sometimes the XWindow user interface is more convenient, such as surfing the Internet.

So I want to switch the interface?

In VMware, you press CTRL + ALT to execute the command to return the cursor focus from the virtual system to the PC.

On the XWindow interface, press SHIFT + CTRL + ALT + F1/F2/.../F6 to switch to each character command interface.

In the character interface, press Alt + F2/.../F7 to switch to another character interface or XWindow user interface, where F7 is the XWindow user interface.
