How to turn off application sounds in Win7

Many people like to work while listening to music or chatting, at this time if the QQ appears when the message will constantly remind of the tone, that is not very annoying? Here is a small series for everyone to solve this problem.

　　Step method

Click the sound icon on the taskbar

Click "Mixer" in the pop-up window.

The sound control of each application appears in the Mixer window. The following figure:

If you want to turn off the QQ sound, only need to click the QQ.exe below the corresponding speaker.
