1. First, find the application we want to uninstall in the Start menu. Here we will take "map" as an example. Right-click the "map" icon and a menu appears below, as shown in the following figure:
2. Click "Uninstall" in the menu below. A confirmation window is displayed, and click "Uninstall", as shown in the following figure:
3. In this case, the application map disappears from the start menu. Move the mouse to the lower left corner, right-click, and click "command prompt (administrator)" in the pop-up shortcut window, as shown in the following figure:
4. After opening the command prompt window, input the command "dism.exe/Online/Get-ProvisionedAppxPackages" (excluding quotation marks, the same below) and press enter, as shown in the following figure:
5. Find the details of the corresponding "map" (find the corresponding information based on the uninstalled application), as shown in the following figure:
Offline/Online/Remove-ProvisionedAppxPackage/PackageName: Microsoft. BingMaps_1.2.0.136_x86 _ 8wekyb3d8bbwe "(replace the corresponding package name according to the command content), as shown in the following figure:
7. After the input is correct, press enter to automatically delete the corresponding content, as shown in the following figure:
8. If you want to verify whether the application is deleted, repeat steps 4. The deleted application information cannot be found.
The preceding method can be used to completely uninstall the built-in metro applications in Win8.
