To confirm the Magento plugin update, first you need to log in to the background. Then go to Magento connect Manager, System-Magento connect. Click Check for upgradesin the Extensions tab.
The Magento Connection Manager automatically connects to the server and checks for available upgrades. If your plugin has a published version of the upgrade, their background color will be marked yellow, you can apply the upgrade to your plugin. Attention! It is important to back up your Magento online store before the upgrade. In the Action drop-down list you can select the version you want to upgrade to. Then click Commit changes to upgrade.
The upgrade package you have selected will be downloaded and applied automatically.
After the plugin upgrade is complete, you can refresh the page by using the Refresh button. Then check the status of the plugin and you will find that the yellow background color of the upgraded plugin disappears. The installed column will also change to the version you just installed.
Now you can click Return to Admin and check if your plugin has a new configuration available. Of course, make sure your online shop is working properly and there are no errors.
