How to use the Windows Server Backup feature to back up the Active Directory

To install the Windows Server Backup tool

1) login DC-01;

2 Click Start, and then click Server Manager.

3 in the feature summary, click Add Feature.

4 in the list of features, double-click Windows Server Backup features, and then click Windows Server Backup, and then select command line tools and next.

5 on the Confirm Installation page, click Install.

6) Click "Close".

Set up DC-01 full backup schedule

1 login to DC-01 server;

2 Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Windows Server Backup.

3 during the operation if the User Account Control dialog box appears, make sure that the action you want to perform is displayed, and then click Continue.

4 On the Action menu, click Backup Schedule.

5 Click the Next button on the Getting Started page of the Backup Plan Wizard.

6 on the Select Backup Configuration page, click Entire Server (recommended) (as shown in the following illustration), and then click Next.

7 in the "Specify Backup Time" page, do not make changes click the Next button, where you later specify the specific backup time in "Scheduled Tasks";

8 in the Specify Target Type page, select Backup to shared network folder and click Next, as shown in the following figure;

9 in the following figure pop-up Warning page, click the "OK" button, you can;

10 Login to DC-02 server, new folder in D disk Dc-01_backup, as shown in the following figure;
