Adding headers and footers to Word documents is one of the most common applications of Word2013. By default, the headers and footers in the Word2013 document are blank. Users can see headers or footers only if they enter text in the header and footer areas or insert page numbers. The steps for editing headers and footers in a Word2013 document are as follows:
In step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the header or Footer button in the header and footer group, as shown in Figure 2013072901.

Step 2nd, click the Edit Header button in the Open Header panel, as shown in Figure 2013072902.

Step 3rd, users can enter text content in the header or footer area, and you can select objects such as page numbering, dates, and times in the Design tab of the open Header and Footer Tools Ribbon. As shown in Figure 2013072903.
