How to resize a picture arbitrarily in Word2007

WORD2007 provides a wealth of image editing features, to facilitate the user without using Photoshop and other picture processing tools, directly in the Word document to edit, modify, and even can add to the picture, three-dimensional effect. Here's how to resize the picture arbitrarily in Word2007.

To fit your editing needs, you usually need to adjust the size of the picture after you insert the picture.

(1) Quickly resize the picture to select the inserted picture, the edge of the picture will appear in a line box, as shown in Figure 1, the drag wireframe can be the size of the whole picture. When the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow, the drag mouse allows the picture to keep the aspect ratio (the original proportions) adjusted.

Step 1th, select the picture you want to adjust, and Word will add the Format tab.

Step 2nd, click the Format tab, click the Picture Size dialog Box Launcher in the lower-right corner of the size area, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3rd, open the Size dialog box. Check the lock aspect ratio checkbox, enter the height or width value of the picture in the scale and rotate area, and you can resize the picture exactly as shown in Figure 3, and then click OK.

(3) Zoom picture by percentage

Resizing a picture also adjusts the size of the picture. Open the Picture Size dialog box. Enter a new height or width ratio in the zoom area, as shown in Figure 4, and click OK when you are set.

(4) Quickly restore the picture to the original state

After various edits to the picture, can you restore the picture to the original state? Sure. Word provides a reset picture feature, and when you restore the picture to its original state, you can simply click the shortcut key.

Step 1th, select the picture you want to restore, and click the Format tab. Step 2nd, click the Reset Picture button in the adjustments area to restore the picture to its original state, as shown in Figure 5.
