How to generate a Word document or HTML file from PDM export in PowerDesigner

A) Open the PDM file using PowerDesigner

b) Click on the report Temlates to make the template

Click on the PowerDesigner menu bar "Report", "Report Templates"

c) Select the template data item

Complete step a), get the following interface, left and right 2 zones, select the data items you want to show in the Word document in the Aavailable area, here we select list of Tables, and List of table columns[data table information]

D) Set Selection

Select Item Right click-Selection, pop up the following window, tick the displayed fields

e) Set Layout

Select Item Right click on Layout, pop up the following window, tick the displayed fields and set the field display width

f) Click Save, so an exported template has been created and saved to the template file to go to the

g) Export Word document

Select the PDM document that will be exported, click the menu "Report"-Generate report, pop up the following window, set the data and click "OK"

h) Exporting HTML documents

Select the PDM document that will be exported, click the menu "Report"-Generate report, pop up the following window, set the data and click "OK"
