How to hide Slides

Author: User

When you make the presentation's structure more complex by adding hyperlinks or action buttons, if you want the slides to not appear in a normal show, only the links to them are displayed. To achieve this effect, you need to use the slide's hidden functionality.

In PowerPoint 2010, users can hide slides in the following two ways.

Options: In Normal view, right-click the slide thumbnail in the window and choose Hide Slides from the shortcut menu that pops up.

Buttons: Select the slides you want to hide, switch to the slide show panel, click the Hide Slides button in the Settings palette, and hide the slides as shown in the following illustration.
