How to implement a date reminder Views in Drupal

Create a new content type: name, birthday, address, and birthday date. "Birthday" is the date type, and "Birthday" is the simplified type, and the value is date ('M-D', birthday ).

Why do we need to create a birthday date field of the birthday type?
