Problem Description:

Record a video with screen recording software to record a video successfully, but you can't record the sound inside the video.

Cause of the problem:

Because most of the current sound card, can not directly through the function of the sound card itself for recording and stereo mixing.

This is due to the sound card chip manufacturers under the pressure of RIAA (Recording Industry association Ofamerica, the United States Record Industry Federation), and the need to maintain music copyright to prevent the recording, in the new sound card on the Audio module's function has been limited, The ability to mix and record directly is not possible.

Workaround:

There are two more practical ways to mix sound on a sound card that does not support mixing.

First, directly using a two-terminal audio cable to connect the mic and headphone interface of the notebook to achieve internal recording. But when you use this method, you can't hear sounds from your computer's speakers at the same time.

Second, the other method is to realize the need of the internal recording by the software virtual sound card.

For the second method recommended software: Virtual Audio Cable 4.09.

First, install and set up virtual Audio Cable

Click setup.exe

Select Yes (Y)

Select I Accept

Select Install

Install successfully, click "OK" button to complete the installation.

Click the Desktop Start button----All Programs---Virtual Audio cable-control Panel to enter the software initialization settings.

Select 1 in cables (i.e. set a virtual channel for the first time) and click the Set button next to generate channel Cable1.

In the parameter setting area will line, Mic (optional), S/PDIF (optional) Three options after the box tick, select after clicking the Settings button set in the parameter Settings area, that is completed, the virtual sound Channel 1 settings.

Second, system settings

Right-click the speaker in the lower right corner of the desktop----Adjust Audio properties----< or click Start-Control Panel---Sound, voice, and audio Devices---Sound and audio devices > eject:

Select voice

At this point the voice portion is set to the original system default device, remains unchanged.

Select audio:

Change the contents of the audio playback and recording options:

The default device for sound playback and recording is changed to Virtual Cable 1. Click Apply---OK.

Turn on the recorder---record the audio (not the sound in the microphone) that is played on the computer----that is "internal record"

Start---All Programs-accessories---entertainment---recorder

Click OK to start recording (note: You can open the corresponding audio file in your computer and start recording)

At this point the audio band shows a sound input, but the computer's headset cannot hear the audio file being played (which is a normal phenomenon).

to hear the contents of an audio file at the same time click the Desktop Start button----All Programs---Virtual audio cable-audio Repeater.

Revision changed to

Click Start to hear the audio file you are recording.

The recording at this time is the sound of the computer recorded through the virtual sound card channel.

Recording the sound from the computer and the external sound collected by the microphone----is mixed

< This method solves problems with no stereo mix or waveform tone options for existing notebooks >

in the "Three Open recorder recording---recording the audio from the computer (not including the sound in the microphone)----that is" recorded "In the meantime, open a irtual audio Cable-audio repeater window

Set it to:

The sound collected from the external microphone is transferred to the virtual sound card channel Cable1, which is recorded as an audio file by the recording software along with the sound played on the computer.

Note: After the recording operation is completed, the system should reset the audio properties of the system to the original default state, so as not to affect the normal use of other software.

Refresh the desktop and then reopen the audio file you just recorded to check the recording effect.
